- Paper Trading Credit Spread And Iron Condor Option Trades
Paper trading using one of the many virtual trading systems provided by option brokers, and now CBOE, is so important if you have never traded options. This is especially important trading credit spreads, like Bull Puts and Bear Calls and ultimately Iron Condors. These are special strategy trades that must that must be fully understood before trading with your own funds. You must practice entering, closing and adjusting Bull Put and Bear Call spread trades. You must fully understand an Iron Condor trade and the requirements for making sure your broker only applies margin to one side of this 4 legged trade. And most important you must practice closing these spreads and rolling to new spreads when trades go against you.
I paper traded for six months using OptionsXpress's virtual trading system before using my own funds. This is the system now used by CBOE so new traders no longer need to apply for a brokerage account to paper trade using a virtual account.
To get started you should establish a virtual trading account with your broker or just use CBOE's free system. You must practice all types of credit spread trades like:
1. Entering new trades using the current bid.
2. Entering new trades using limits that are higher than the bids, like one half of the bid/ask or midpoint. Then shave 5-10 cents off this midpoint.
3. Enter stop loss orders to close profitable spread trades for 10 cents or less freeing up margin for new trades.
4. Practice adjusting Bull Put and Bear Call credit spreads. You should close and roll to new credit spread trades to collect another credit. This is the most important one to practice and master before committing your own funds.
The 4 types of trades above should be practiced many times over for a period of 2 to 3 months. Never enter into one of these specialty options trades using your own funds until you completely understand all the risks. You must have an exit plan and know exactly what to do when a trade goes against you.
Once of the huge advantages you have with option spreads is that you can break even when a spread trade has to be closed. This is accomplished by adjusting, or rolling, to a new spread trade to collect a new credit. Sometimes this new credit offsets, or exceeds, the debit you incurred closing your original spread. This is a key risk management procedure that you can master paper trading. Once you complete a few of these rolling trades you will really get excited about trading credit spreads and be able to protect your monthly cash flow so that you are always adding net credits to your account. - Dark T Shirt Transfer Paper
You can use T Shirt Transfer Paper to create your own custom t shirts or other fabric articles.
Be creative and use T-shirt transfer paper to make your own custom t-shirts and other fabric articles, such as aprons, tote bags, and book covers. T-shirt transfer paper can be used to transfer a printed image onto fabric with heat from a heat press or even a household iron.
There are two different types of T shirt transfer paper. For white, gray or another light colored fabric, use standard T-shirt transfer paper. For black, navy, or other dark colored fabric, use T-shirt transfer paper designed for dark colors. Remember that black lettering and outlines will not show up, so change your design accordingly.
How to Create Your Own T-Shirt Designs
In addition to the T-shirt transfer paper, all you need is a printer and a computer with some type of imaging software. Put the T-shirt transfer paper into your printer and:
- Use single sheet feeding only.
- Print on rough side of the transfer paper and do not use transfer setting on printer
- Set Printer to high-resolution or photo-quality
- Increase color brightness and or saturation.
Create your custom design using your computer photo editing or image design software. If you are creating a design that contains lettering, be sure you remember to reverse the image in the document before printing. Print the design onto your T shirt transfer paper, and let the ink dry.
Cut around the outside edges of the final image before positioning the paper on the fabric. Carefully read the instructions for transfer, including heat settings and length of time for heat application. You can do the transfer with a house hold iron. Directions are also included for care and washing of the t shirt. In general you will:
- Put fabric on a hard smooth surface (Do not use ironing board)
- Put pillowcase underneath fabric
- Remove the backing from the transfer paper by tearing about 1/8”
- Position imaged transfer film on fabric with printed side up
- Set iron at highest temperature setting
- Cover imaged transfer paper with silicon paper to protect the image
- Press each side of the image with 45 seconds presses until all edges and corners are firmly attached. Continue to press with small 45 second presses over the entire image
- Allow silicon to cool completely and peel off
- Total ironing time should be 5 to 6 minutes for an 8 ½” X 11” image.
Sometimes irons vary, so you may have to experiment with the length of press time.
If you own a Heat Press, here are the general instructions:
- Settings for cotton/cotton blends: 25 seconds, 375 degrees
- Settings for synthetic fabrics: 10 seconds, 350 degrees
General Use
Dark T shirt transfer paper for inkjet printers can be printed with 1440 dpi which is great for high-resolution photographs. It will work on all colored fabrics made of cotton or synthetic, like polyester and nylon. The paper works well in most common ink jet printers such as Epson, Canon, HP or Lexmark
Washing Instructions
Wash all fabric (turn inside out) before wearing. Wash in warm water and hang dry. Do not use bleach.

- The Best Quality Printer Paper
For certain people printing is simply a matter of outputting some results on paper or just submitting their work. However, for others it is their profession. For people of this group, printing is not a simple thing, and in fact encompasses so many variables in the pursuit of perfection.
Ironically, the paper itself is just as an important element as the quality of the printing machines. Basically there are two various kinds of printing paper, one is everyday kind, and the other is the high-quality professional ones. The ones most consumers use at home is the common printing paper. However, professional printing jobs cannot utilize common 70 gram paper, but in its place it uses very high-quality printer paper.
Both the professional printer paper and the most common printer paper comes in multiple sizes including A4, A5, A2 and A3.
Common Printing Paper
The weight of common printer paper can range between 70 grams to 100 grams or even higher for hardcore printing purposes. The usual weight for card stock is more than 110 grams. Papers such as this typically the appears normal, without any smoothness or glossiness. It has the ability to be used in all kinds of printers such as bubble jet, inkjet, and LaserJet printers.
When you purchase this kind of printer paper, make certain that it is of good quality and branded. This is done to prevent the printer ink from leaving smudges on the paper, or having the printing visible on the other side. Another name for this kind of paper is general purpose paper.
Professional Printing Paper
This particular type of printing paper can be segregated into several different kinds, which includes A size printer paper, photo laser paper, brochure paper, high gloss paper, non-tear and waterproof paper, wide format inkjet paper, high density color laser printer paper, and many more. The unique quality with this kind of printer paper is that it is typically twice as thick as the general purpose or common printer paper. And it can last up to twice as long.
This kind of printing paper is typically used in magazines, printing cards, flyers and glossy brochures, certificates, books, posters, photos, as well as many more. Generally speaking the ink also cost more than the kind used to print on general purpose paper. Smudging is not a problem and typically this paper is waterproof, however it should be noted that there is a separate category of printer paper known as waterproof paper.
The printing on this type of paper is longer lasting as well. This is due to the fact that the density of this printing paper is higher, which provides protection to the ink or print from being exposed to danger such as water and so on. More on The Best Quality Printer Paper.
